SILVANUS
Silvanus ; Born Delroy Roberts, in the Parish of St. Thomas Jamaica.He started out at an early age, singing at Churches and Entertaining relatives and friends. Silvanus migrated to Canada in 1979, where he started spreading his distinct brand of Culture in the Dance Halls and Stage Shows of Montréal, Toronto, Ottawa, Calgary Alberta and Vancouver B.C.(Canada) .New York, Washington D.C. (U.S.A.) London, Manchester (England) just to name a few.
He has shared the Stage with such Artists like, Horace Andy,Jose Whales, Fred Locks, R.Z. Jackson ,The Maytones ,Culture Knox ,Prezident Brown, General Trees, Morgans Heritage ,Suger Minott , Brigadere Jerry, Sister Carroll . Just to name a few.
His first release was a 12” A. side The Gentiles produce by Silvanus for Silverglobe Records and side B. Entertainment produce by Trevor Philip of Young Lions Production. Silvanus went on to Produce a CD for an New upcoming female Artist Mounia Sahara .The title of the Album is “I’ve got a Joy”.He is presently working on his New debut Album”Talk to Jah’’ set for early release in 2006. A pre-release Single by the same title had made it to #3 on Galaxie Reggae, Canadian Top Ten spin and is receiving excellent Airplay in the U.S., U.K.,
The Netherlands, Germany, France and the Caribbean just to name a few places.
The full length Album will consist of 15 tracks.
